Reliance Jio, Happy New Year Offer: free data extended till March 2017

Reliance Jio, as expected earlier announced ‘Happy New Year Offer’. Now, existing and new users can enjoy free benefits of voice and data upto March 2017. New users after 4 Dec will be entitled for this offer and existing users will also be moved under this plan after 4 Dec. But, there is some limitations now as from now customers and enjoy data upto 1 GB for a day. Later, speed will be reduced to 2G after consumption.

Most of Jio users are using less than 1 GB data a day while 20% of users are consuming higher amount of data either by sharing to others or blk downloading, leading to congestion. Happy New Year Offer is now adjusted to consume 1 GB data daily under Fair Usage Policy.

— From December 4, every new Jio user will get Jio’s data, voice, video and the full bouquet of Jio applications free till 31, March 2017.
— All existing customers will get extended benefits of Jio offer till 31 March 2017 on current SIMs.
— Millions of touch points for Jio Money will be deployed.
