Jio phone booking has been rolled out in few areas of Delhi NCR through offline mode. Certain offline stores have started taking Jio phone booking. As all aware Jio phone has been announced on 21 July in an event by Mukesh Ambani. Jio phone is priced at Rs 1500. This amount is refundable and can be claimed after 36 months.
Documents you need to buy Jio Phone
Jio phone booking can be done by visiting local Jio authorized retailer in your area and need to provide a copy of Adhaar card to get yourself registered. Only one unit of Jio phone will be available to purchase on a single Adhaar card. Also, you can’t use your Adhaar card to book Jio phone at other retail stores.
Online jio phone booking will commence from August 24 via MyJio app. You can also visit Jio official to get notifications over Jio phone. Jio website now asking users name, email id and phone number to keep users updated.
Delivery schedule after Jio phone booking
Those who will place an order for Jio phone between Sep1 and Sep 4 will get Jio phone in the same month. There is no exact date for Jio phone delivery. The company aims to deliver 5 million units every week for consumers.
Jio phone booking and beta testing
15 Aug has been scheduled as a date for starting testing phase for Jio phone. In this phase, Jio phone might be available to limited users or internal testers. Under this process, Jio phone will be tested for smooth bug-free operations and network testing.
Jio phone specifications and features
Jio phone is termed as ‘India ka smartphone’ means it will be a special phone made for India. To remind you again Jio phone will have a special operating system to run light apps. It will also have access to all Jio apps. Jio phone can also be connected to TV to enjoy content on the big screen through a separate cable.
