Recently, Xiaomi in association with Google launched Dual camera phone Mi A1 with Android One operating system. Hope you still remember Google‘s Android One project. In this project, Google had an association with smartphone manufacturers to provide stock Android OS. It constitutes of carefully curated custom apps and timely performance and security updates. This project was meant to push the small and medium range of handsets having low hardware configurations.

The MI A1 will deliver the stock performance of Android with a minimal set of preinstalled apps. Redmi phones are known for preloaded MIUI having various specific functions and inbuilt apps. But all these custom performances come at cost of bloatware, RAM consumption and battery degradation. On the other hand, Android One offers clean stock performance even on a low level of configuration. The raw performance of Android OS gives rich experience for stock OS lovers.
Xiaomi A1 claims improved performance and security with timely updates released directly by Google. Mi A1 will come preinstalled with Mi Camera, Mi Remote, and Mi Store apps, apart from a Mi Services section within Settings. It has got optimisation for Google Assistant and Google Photos.

If we talk about design here we get a metal unibody design, 2.5D curved glass, and a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. Xiaomi A1, packed with a dual pyrolytic graphite sheet, which helps radiate heat, help in decreasing thermal performance by up to 2-degrees Celsius.
The Xiaomi Mi A1 offers bears 64GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB) in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration. 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C port, and 3.5mm headphone jack as connectivity options. The speciality about Mi A1 is not just about Android One OS but also its hardware specifications. Dual camera phone Mi A1 bears two 12 MP cameras, one with wide angle lens and another with a telephoto lens with 1.25 micron sensor. Mi A1 delivers 2X optical zoom and generates DSLR like or call it as Bokeh effect. The smartphone bears a 5-megapixel front camera with beautification mode.Sensors on board the Xiaomi Mi A1 include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, infrared, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. Mi A1 has 3080mAh battery, measures 155.4×75.8×7.3mm, and weighs 168 grams.
